Cook Out Restaurants is Hiring a Facility Maintenance Technician Near Columbia, SC

Cook Out Restaurants is seeking experienced HVAC and commercial refrigeration technicians to join our elite Maintenance team! Our HVAC techs repair and maintain AC units, walk-in coolers, walk-in freezers, modular restaurant refrigeration equipment, etc.

Maintenance technicians are responsible for keeping our stores and kitchens cooking by performing general maintenance and repairing the kitchen’s “hot side”! Come join our growing company and start your HVAC career with Cook Out!

**$500 AND $1000 SIGN ON BONUS’S OFFERED**

HVAC Technician Responsibilities:

  • Service multiple Cook Out locations in designated areas by providing a safe, clean, and well-maintained environment.
  • Utilize a tablet to keep record of maintenance requests and complete in a timely manner.
  • Regular inspection of location grounds, building and kitchen equipment/systems
  • Maintain communication and relationships with Service Area Manager (S.A.M), office support staff, location managers and crew members.
  • Other duties deemed necessary by the S.A.M

HVAC Technician Requirements:

  • Minimum two years relevant work experience with refrigeration (coolers and freezers)
  • A valid driver’s license for a minimum of three years with no major traffic violations or accidents within the past 3-5 years.
  • Ability to lift 50lbs (max).
  • No criminal convictions within the past ten years.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and be subject to random drug testing per company policy.
  • Reliable transportation to assigned van location (van taken home when on-call for weekend)
  • Possess proper tools/instruments for refrigeration work
  • Must be able to work weekdays, every other weekend and ability to be on-call when notified.
